Eu e a moda

É o meu vício (até agora ainda nem me fez mal à saúde), é a minha paixão, e faz-me feliz. Mesmo que nem todos percebam isso. Faz-me feliz.

sporting my fab OnePiece

WEARING Onepiece jumpsuit, Timberland boots, River Island backpack

Comprei a versão College 69 - sim, leram bem! 69! Apeteceu-me, vá!

OnePiece

Eheheh! :)

Vale a pena visitar o site da OnePiece.

in love with...

They're not in my closet (YET) but aren't they the loveliest?

They are the latest JC Skulltini. They are black leather loafers with gorgeous golden skulls studded all over them. I'm definitely craving for them.

MUST. WAIT. TO. BUY.
CONTROL. THE. IMPULSE.
YOU. ARE. STRONG.
BREAAAATHE. :)

Have a look!

You can find these gorgeous at solestruck.com, more precisely HERE. I love this website! Although it takes a long time for orders to arrive to the UK (it's a US website and we do have to pay custom duties and VAT), it's totally worth the wait and the money, because you can find models here that you wouldn't be able to buy otherwise, as they're not for sale neither at stores in London nor through UK online shopping. websites.

Hope you enjoyed the news!

my adorable new babes

I am not tall. Actually if there was one thing I could change about my body, it would definitely be my height. It's not that I'm short, but I'm not tall as well, and since this has always been an issue for me, I feel like a little elf (I bet some of you know what I mean, don't you?)

So, I am a high-heel person. And as much as I do love wearing my comfy Converse, I can't live with my quality high-heel shoes. That was the reason why I ordered a pair of Jeffrey Campbell's Lita Espana (the platform is slightly higher than in the regular Litas). I chose the Mustard Suede Distressed colour, because I love the fact it will easily match with most colours and at the same time it's not one of the most common colours in Litas.

Although the JC Litas bring nothing new - they're quite common actually, particularly within the fashionists and bloggers' circle - they will most certainly make miracles for my wardrobe. Main reason: they're as comfortable as my trainers - THEY REALLY ARE! Whenever I looked at them before, I couldn't help but to think 'Gosh, that must be painful' and although all the reviews stated the opposite, that was the reason pushing me back from buying them. The fact is I already have too many pain-inflicting shoes; no need for a new pair. But I had to try them, so I visited solestruck.com website and ordered a pair. Check mine here. Oh, and if you're willing to buy a pair, bear in mind: they run one size smaller.

Well, needless to say I have now my eyes on some other JC shoes, probably some regular Litas will follow (in a couple of months...). I simply loved these ones. :)

Here's the result:

(the JC shoe box is just lovely)

SHY

Sunday was day for a long stroll. We woke up in the morning and went to the nearest park to play football (I tried!!!), badminton and to throw the flying saucer (just so that you know it was windy, so it was 'fun' [read 'hilarious'] to watch, but hard to play). We had pancakes for lunch (I'll soon be fatter than Peter Griffin) and went out again. We didn't do anything special actually, just relaxed. Working days are so much stressful it feels amazing not to have plans for one day or the other.

I'm posting my look for the day: relaxed & easy. Oh, remember this shirt? You can see it here as well.

Wearing:
Topshop dress, River Island men's shirt and black & white skull bracelet,
Zara scarf and brown leather belt, Urban Outfitters grey V and golden skulls bracelet,
Casio golden watch.

Enjoy your Tuesday the best way.

good & bad news

Which ones would you like first?!

Since I cannot hear your choice, and I always like to start with bad news, let's start! So, the bad news is: remember my Mulberry Effie satchel? It was an online buy and has been cancelled for technical issues. Anyway, it isn't a big problem, because there are good news as well: Mulberry offered me a discount voucher in order to apologise for the website problem. So, I'm ordering it again now, but it will have to be an online purchase again, and I don't know when it will arrive. I'll post it as soon as possible!

However, that's not the only good news! Noooops! I have always loved Marc by Marc Jacobs flats and ordered a new pair at the weekend! [Online shopping is killing me, Gosh!] Anyway, since I like Melissa and the Mouse Marc Jacobs flats, I got myself a 2 in 1 pair of shoes: the MJ mouse rubber flats! Can't wait for them to arrive!

Here's a picture! And it was actually a good deal!

shopping frenzy (8) - attacking the men's department

Yesterday was day for shopping - and it was Mr. Bubbly's idea this time! So, before you start picturing The 100% Superficial Mrs Bubbly, try to remember I'M INNOCENT!

I always had a problem with Men's Department at stores. I can't get enough satisfaction ("I can't get no, thhhhrrr Rrrrhhrrrr thrrrrrrree SA-TIS-FA-CTION! Thhhheeeee, Rhhhhheeeee, Rhhhhhhhe, NO! NO! NO!!!!" - Sorry, singing momentarily madness) from buying only at Women's department anymore. So, helping the husband find some sartorial treasures has become my latest favourite hobbie, because it means buying myself a few treats! Ehhhh ehhh eeeeeehhh! [are you hearing an eccho of evil Machiavelli laughter - yah, that was me!]

Anyway, here are some of the treats:

River Island man's skull bracelet
I love their terrified faces! they're the skulls and they're the ones who look terrified?!?!

 River Island man's shirt
it's size S, but looks like an oversized denim shirt on me
(i was always borrowing Mr. Bubby's and now I have my own)

I am a backpack addicted!
This one is from River Island's Men Department (what else, right?)
and was a gift from Mr. Bubbly (Yeeeeeeeey!!)
Don't you love the ethnic pattern?! :)

And that was it! Hope to have given you some sort of inspiration for your shopping sprees! Otherwise you can always keep stealing your boyfriend's clothes - that's what I keep doing!
:)

Mulberry addiction

As you already know, I love good-quality bags. That's one of my true passions and I simply cannot resist to Carolina Herrera, Mulberry, Hermès, Balenciaga and Proenza Schouler. These are by far my favourite brands.

I have been promising myself for a while now a Mulberry (Yup, remember the Alexa I was craving for?! Still don't have it - always end up spending money in other stuff). Well I didn't buy the Alexa (YET), but I bought the Black Spongy Pebbled Effie Satchel, just for starters (I'd like to think so, at least). This is a very practical bag for everyday use, but which can be adapted for a night out, and has recently joined the Mulberry family, so who knows?! It may become iconic one day! Apart from a vintage quilted black leather backpack I bought a couple of months ago, this is my first real investment bag since I arrived, so I'm quite happy about it. Couldn't be happier indeed!

Later in the week, photos with MYYYY PRECIIIOOOOOOUSSSS!

Enjoy your Saturday! I will probably be strolling around the Soho and visit (finally hopefully) the Louboutin exhibition (let's just hope Mr. Bubbly won't be exhausted after his morning football coaching session).

London's night out

Last Saturday night, me and Mr. Bubbly went to a sort of pub called Royal Oak with a couple of friends. It is one of our favourite spots in Clapham - it has that retro look and the music is usually great for dancing. That night we were privileged enough to watch what I like to call: "Saturday night quest of a British bachelor: sex hunting" - doesn't matter if she's fat, drunk or looks like a zombie; the objective is clear and leaves no questions: SEX.

So there was this young bachelor, a very British macho man and a complete idiot. He actually attempted to hit on me, when he caught me alone and vulnerable (so he thought, poor guy), by inviting me to sit next to him and was about to start a very philosophical conversation on the "state of the XXI century society" - nop, not really to be honest. Anyway, he wasn't that lucky with me and I politely - as far as possible in this sort of thing - ran the hell out of there moved away. Some minutes later, we all sat at a different table but were able to watch this young male's behaviour. And this is the bad news: he started hitting on a drunk (drunk kind of zombie) girl and also invited her to sit at his table, so this is his thing; I'm not special after all - baaaah! The good news is: it was freaking hilarious! The guy managed to hit on three different girls in the same little space (the dance floor, where the girls could actually keep eye contact), kissed one of those and got her phone number, and went home with one of the others. This guy is an expert, a master, I'd say, a Sir on ladies matters! Men of the world, you should worship him! And to pay him homage, just for him, here's a very special song. This song:

That day I was wearing a velvet black dress, which you have already seen here, and an old golden/creme gillet that I simply adooooore! Check out the photos after the Portuguese translation.

velvet & bows @ the tube station

I've always been fascinated with bows and ribbons, what can I do?!

Sometimes I simply opt for girly girl looks, others I just go with the flow and mix some styles. Most of you will probably hate this look and say: "God, is she smoking weed?!" and the answer is "No!", I'm just feeling confident enough (be scaaaareeeed, guys!) to go for a more creative view when it comes to fashion. So, why not?! Mix soft velvet, with bows, some old biker boots and a tunic and this is the result. Hope you like the post!
